Nebraska Softball Coach Rhonda Revelle Placed on Administrative Leave

Longtime Nebraska softball head coach Rhonda Revelle has been placed on administrative leave by the University of Nebraska Athletic Department.

“We take seriously any concerns raised regarding our student athletes. As part of our due diligence, Coach Revelle has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the completion of a review, “The NU Athletic Department said in a statement to KLIN. “With this being a personnel matter, there will be no additional comment until the review is complete.”

There were no other details provided in the statement and no set timetable given for the review.

Revelle has led the Husker softball team for 27 years. She is a member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Hall of Fame and the Nebraska Softball Hall of Fame. She is also the winningest head coach in Nebraska history, men or women’s, with 989 overall wins.
